My story

Ashley Misquitta

Ever had that scary feeling that after you work so hard for your degree, your efforts won’t be recognized in the “real world” job market? Or are you at that stage where you are searching for another job?

I’ve been there.

Ashley Misquitta, the MBA Coach

About me

Back in 2001, I earned my MBA. While the experience was invaluable, much of the real-world know-how came from trial and error. If only I had known then what I know now, the journey would’ve been smoother.

Let's Talk about My Journey

My journey has been quite the rollercoaster. From bustling New York to vibrant Toronto, I’ve clocked countless 90-hour weeks, experienced the highs of working with fantastic bosses and the lows of dealing with not-so-great ones. And yes, I’ve even had my fair share of live TV appearances.

The Plot Twist

With changing situations, companies let go of their managers from time to time and I was not immune. Yes, you’re hearing it from me – I got fired.

That sinking feeling of uncertainty? I know it well. However, instead of dwelling on it, I turned it into fuel for growth. I networked, I learned, and I persevered. And when the next opportunity knocked, I was ready – landing a job that brought me more fulfillment than ever before.

Fast Forward to Today

Fast forward to today, and I’m “one of the bosses” on the other side of the table, interviewing and hiring for our team. Sharing my knowledge and experiences brings me immense joy – whether it’s helping fresh talent kickstart their careers or guiding seasoned professionals through unexpected setbacks.

And I just love getting that phone call telling me that they got the job they were hoping for thanks in part to my advice.

That’s why in 2022, I founded the B-School Hub (formerly the MBA Hub). Since then, I’ve had the privilege of mentoring numerous candidates, assisting them in securing their dream roles.

While I’ve helped so many people individually, I never had places I could point them to, so I decided to create those resources myself.

So How Can I Assist You?

Whether it’s shedding light on specific topics or answering burning questions, I’m here to ensure your journey is as rewarding as possible. Your success is my success, and I’m committed to making every step count.

Thank you for being part of the B-School Hub community. Together, let’s navigate the road to success and make every moment count!
